Six textures. Each one holds for a length the entropy decides — so the rate of now itself stretches and snaps. Pitch is dead: voice roughness, mass, and the rate of the present. The erhu's only job is to become noise.

A state oracle for complex abstract noise construction. It throws the next texture and a fresh duration drawn from genuine entropy — Dōgen's being-time and Bergson's durée made operational: the present has no fixed rate. Each state carries its own time-feel; the oracle dilates and compresses it further so no two "nows" are equal.
the six states
- VOID — the ground. Let silence have duration. Hairs of feedback, one barely-there bow, or nothing.
- SWARM — sparse, unsynced events. Scattered scrapes and squeals; erhu darts the register, never landing.
- GRIND — thick beating wall. Hold detuned distortion, ride the difference tones; erhu slides to find and lose the beat.
- HALO — bright high band. High harmonics and shimmer only; erhu floats ethereal at the top.
- SHATTER — violent density. Max distortion, tremolo, whammy; erhu bows behind the bridge, losing its pitch.
- SINGULARITY — collapse to a point. Guitars choke to one band; erhu detonates into pure noise, then dissolves. Line becomes mass.
Transitions are weighted toward an arc (…GRIND → SHATTER → SINGULARITY → VOID…) but entropy can jump anywhere. Wildcard probability is adjustable below.
settings
Point this at any endpoint returning bytes — including a local bridge to your own entropy.py (e.g. http://localhost:8787/bytes?n=1024). XORs into crypto.getRandomValues() per sample, exactly like the pipeline. Falls back to hardware silently if unreachable.
